Bahamas Destination Wedding, The Bahamas premier wedding consultants and planners have expended its beach wedding offerings announcing its newest venue for Nassau beach weddings – Nuptial Beach located on picturesque Cable Beach, the Bahamian Riviera.

In making the announcement, Bahamas Destination Wedding’s Resident Wedding Planner and officiant Glenn Ferguson said, “We are delighted to be able to add Nuptial Beach as our newest venue for Nassau Beach weddings given the results of Expedia’s 2014 American Altar Report which showed an overwhelming 43 percent of American Destination wedding Brides desiring to have their wedding on the beach. It is the ideal location for beach wedding, ”

Asked why Nuptial Beach, Ferguson said that the Expedia Report also showed that Forty-two percent of married Americans, if given the chance for an “I Do-Over,” would choose a destination wedding the second time around. And again referencing to that same report said “Destination brides prefer the beach.”

While Nassau and Paradise Island are home to some of the finest beaches in the world, Ferguson goes on to say that because most are occupied by the major touristic resorts, “they are usually really crowded and not ideal for an intimate wedding ceremony. Nuptial Beach provides a great alternative right on Cable Beach and within twenty minutes of any of the resort including those at Baha Mar and Atlantis on Paradise Island, making it ideal for a beach wedding in Nassau.”

About Nuptial Beach

Nuptial Beach is a white powdery sand beach with crystal clear turquoise waters located at the western end of Cable Beach on the island of New Providence, the home of the world famous capital city of the Bahamas – Nassau.

China ramps up war of rhetoric in trade standoff with US

May 26, 2019

BEIJING — Stepping up Beijing's propaganda offensive in the tariffs standoff with Washington, Chinese state media on Friday accused the U.S. of seeking to "colonize global business" with moves against Huawei and other Chinese technology companies. There was no word from either side on progress toward resuming talks between the world's two largest economies, though President Donald Trump said he expected to meet with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping next month at a G-20 meeting in Japan. Negotiations over how to cut the huge, longstanding U.S. trade deficit with China and resolve complaints over Beijing's methods for acquiring advanced foreign...

The Latest: SKorea says it's discussing 5G security with US

May 26, 2019

BEIJING — The Latest on trade tensions between the U.S. and China (all times local): 6:10 p.m. South Korea says it's discussing security issues regarding its 5G, or fifth generation, cellphone networks with the United States following a report the Trump administration is demanding that Seoul join a "war" against Huawei. South Korea's Foreign Ministry and presidential office did not confirm Friday a report by the Chosun Ilbo newspaper that U.S. officials want Seoul to block a local wireless carrier that uses Huawei equipment for its 5G services from unspecified "sensitive areas." It's unclear whether Seoul would accept potential U.S....

Taiwan navy holds drill amid China tensions

May 26, 2019

HUALIEN, Taiwan — Taiwan's navy has held a major live-firing exercise off the island's east coast in an area increasingly threatened by Chinese ships and planes. Wednesday's drills are part of the annual Han Kuang exercises that simulate an attack by China, which claims Taiwan as its own territory to be annexed by force if necessary. In addition to firing of cannons and missiles by navy craft and the release of depth charges, fighter jets launched missiles and anti-submarine warfare aircraft released buoys. Along with its vast array of ballistic missiles, submarines are considered among China's most potent weapons against...

US ambassador in China makes rare visit to Tibet

May 26, 2019

BEIJING — The U.S. ambassador to China is making a rare visit to Tibet to meet local officials and raise concerns about restrictions on Buddhist practices and the preservation of the Himalayan region's unique culture and language. The U.S. Embassy in Beijing said Terry Branstad is visiting the Tibetan Autonomous Region and neighboring Qinghai province from Sunday through Saturday. Qinghai is a traditionally Tibetan region also known as Amdo and the birthplace of the Dalai Lama, Tibet's exiled Buddhist leader. Branstad's visit will include official meetings along with visits to religious and cultural heritage sites, schools, and "other places of...

Companies bracing for China's retaliation in tariffs dispute

May 26, 2019

BEIJING — Companies were bracing Monday for how Beijing might retaliate against President Donald Trump's escalation of a fight over technology and trade that threatens to disrupt a Chinese economic recovery. Regulators have threatened "necessary countermeasures" for Trump's tariff hikes Friday on $200 billion of Chinese imports. But three days later, in a break with previous tit-for-tat penalties that were imposed immediately, Beijing had yet to announce what it might do. A foreign ministry spokesman said Monday that he had no details about Chinese plans or high-level contacts since negotiations ended Friday without a deal. "We are determined and capable...
